New Blog?

I'm thinking I should write this blog off as being dead and start a new one. I had planned to write mostly about the cat 'problem' I was having and finding a suitable remedy for all beings involved, However, there was so much sadness that I became aware of in the way our society views and treats our animals that I spent much time crying and found it a topic too difficult to keep reliving. so, now I think I should start fresh with a new blog. other things have changed as well. And now I have fresh perspective. Now I've got to think of a new name and theme.

I Can Relate.

I've been home sick for a few days, and in between sleeping and taken in fluids, I've watched a lot of old TV shows including episodes I missed when they were airing. I even caught the final episode of Friends! So, when I came across this quiz to determine which 'Friends" character I'd be, I just had to take it. Here are my results:
You are a beautiful, funny, quirky person who lives to entertain! You care deeply about the environment, and you always make sure to do everything you can to take care of it. You love animals and music, and your spiritual beliefs are a big part of who you are. Your friends love you for your wisdom, your strong conscience, and your sense of humor. When you're around, there's never a dull moment!
25.9% of people that have taken this quiz have achieved this result.
Which Friends Character Am I?

You guessed it! I'm Phoebe Buffay!

Find out which Friends character you are right here!

The Host (The Host, #1)The Host by Stephenie Meyer
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

This book was torturous! The premise was good, but the writing terrible. It started off interesting and quickly fell apart. The few violent parts were the only believable and engrossing parts. In between those were extremely sappy and sickeningly sweet episodes. Unfortunately, the movie was just as bad!

This Sorrowful Life

One episode before the season 3 finale of The Walking Dead.

I was so upset over Merle's death that I had to take off work today!
Well, not really, but I am sorry that he is gone. Yes, yes, I know what a jerk he's been but I really felt there was some good in there waiting to come out. I mean, I was a little apprehensive about Daryl in the beginning also, but we saw his true heart come through the rough exterior. Also, knowing how Daryl felt about his brother brings one to believe there had to be some good in him. So much has transpired in this episode, with the decision of turning over Michone, Glen proposing to Maggie, etc. yet losing Merle has affected me the most. And did you see Merle's eyes when he was Zombified! They looked so sad, and to me they looked like he was still in there and recognized Darryl!
Now, I suppose Daryl will become closer to Carol now that they are both alone. (aside from their extended prison family)

I had wondered about the hold The Governor had on Merle and was waiting to find out what that was about. Sure, I know The Governor rescued him from the rooftop, took him in and got him doctored up, but I thought there had to be more than that to make Merle do some of the things he'd been doing. I wonder why everyone else seems to be so afraid of him also...he's just one man. He can only get away with what they let him get away with, right? Maybe people are just to scared and don't want to be put out on their own again.

But, don't you just love Michone?! In the same since that Merle has been true to himself, so has Michone. She cannot be swayed.

On Talking Dead, someone said the fact that Glen proposed to Maggie made him think one of them won't survive to be in next season. Wow! Sunday is a long time away! I guess I'll have to watch the Zombie Apocalypse Marathon that starts tonight at the very beginning and runs through to the season finale next week!

Favorite Night of the Week

It's Walking Dead night!
First off, I wonder am I the only one who has noticed how The Governor's eye patch keeps changing sides?
2nd off, I really love how the characters are growing. I'm very happy about how strong Carol has become, and Hershel (sp?) is really great with how strong he is and keeping things together without even being the leader! I'm getting tired of Woodbury, however. Also, that group that left the prison and is now at Woodbury, I hope the good people in the group somehow join back up with Rick's group. Those other two guys can stay with The Governor's group.
By-the-way, why is everyone so afraid of The Governor anyhow? And what about Meryl and Michone? Meryl seems swing whichever way the wind blows. Michone, well, we still don't know anything about her background. And who the heck are these special guests on Talking Dead tonight? I've never seen those two on anything before!
Ah, thank goodness this show comes on on Sunday night, otherwise Monday would ruin my Sunday!
